About Us
Welcome to MX Aero Global

A centrally located, one-stop shop, MX Aero has the skill and experience to work on every aspect of your plane, from avionics to engine overhaul to style upgrades. We specialize in Diamond aircraft, and our thousands of hours of working on these planes gives us unmatched, in-depth expertise.

In addition to first-rate aircraft maintenance skill and top customer service at our Long Beach location, we also provide AOG services worldwide. We’ve gone as far as Greenland to replace a turbo charger for plane stranded in the middle of the Arctic in the middle of winter.

Our sister organization, Angel City Flyers, can provide aircraft rental or training while your aircraft is being serviced at MX Aero.

David Seastead

David Seastead joined MX Aero in 2011. Our clients rely on David for his precision and skill in troubleshooting complex aircraft issues, identifying solutions, and getting the plane back online quickly. Even on his downtime, David never stops fixing things. His fully restored 1970 El Camino demonstrates his aptitude and his passion. He and his wife, Sarah, have a 1-year-old son.

Lauren Canfield

As MX Aero's Administrative Assistant, Lauren Canfield is charged with paying attention to crucial details—everything from scheduling maintenance and test flights to record-keeping for key inspections. Staff and clients count on Lauren for her quick response, can-do attitude, and readiness to help.

Before relocating to southern California, Lauren lived in some of the Golden State’s most bucolic spots, and says she retains certain small-town traits of community, openness, and candor. The mother of a 5-year old daughter and twin toddlers, Lauren is also a gourmet cook, yogini, and freelance makeup artist. She likes to apply aspects of her outside interests to her role at MX Aero: creativity, energy, and flexibility.

Stanley Jijawi

The discipline and teamwork that were part of Stanley Jijawi’s three-year stint in the military are evident in his approach to aircraft maintenance and upgrades. The son of an aircraft mechanic, Stan was a regular assistant in his uncle’s auto shop, pitching in on fixing cars from a very young age. When he’s not in the hangar at MX Aero, Stan might be surfing at 17ST in Huntington Beach, restoring classic cars — he recently brought a 1968 AMC back to life with all new parts — or shredding on his Martin, Ibanez or Gibson guitars.
“You want a mechanic who understands your concerns, who knows that a five-hour flight with the family is different from your usual hop up to Camarillo for lunch. And who distinguishes between long-range worries and things you need to make perfect before you can happily take to the sky again. For us, that has been MX Aero.”
